Jerry and Jocelyn and their super supportive family created a winter wonderland, they wrote sweet personal vows, they planned a party to the smallest detail. As Jocelyn got ready in the brides room the groom sent his sister in with a sandwich because he was worried in the rush she would forget to eat. The ceremony went off beautifully, there was sweet toasts to the couple, their family was so excited for them and everyone ate and danced into the night! Sometimes you get a little reluctant dancing, but THIS was full on and everyone had an amazing time dancing the night away! This is a long post as their were so many beautiful details lovingly planned into this day. Check it out below!!
David and Katie had a very David & Katie wedding. They always wanted it to be outside, but being late in October they were nervous about that. We told them to tell people to wear jackets. Lol. These two are also just relaxed and casual people, and that's what they planned and did, as an over-the-top glitzy affair would be exactly what they would not want. Everyone had a good time eating at the park before the wedding just chatting and comfortable and then in the evening the wedding happened up at the Alumni house (outside, yay!) and for the ride away from their reception? A bike of course. Couldn't be happier for these two, glad I could be there!
Tim and Diana had a perfect summer afternoon wedding in a park. It was fun and festive and the weather totally cooperated. Their furthest guests tuned in from Spain via Skype (isn't technology wonderful). Diana's dad surprised her with a mariachi band who serenaded the guests throughout the evening and provided an extremely fun background to the event. Congrats to you two lovebirds... I know you have been lovebirds for a minute, but it makes it that much more fun you get to be new lovebirds again! :)
This was a beautiful wedding day for a beautiful couple. Their friends and family turned up and made their black and white theme request come true. They danced they ate, they sang, they laughed. The temperature and atmosphere a the Four Seasons was so nice. The deep blue sky made for a fun dance floor. The food was brought in from the Waffle Iron as a throw back to the first date these too had. PS. I had one. Awesome! It all went off without a hitch until the big sparkler exit. We waited and waited for them to run down the tunnel of sparklers... except ooops, there was some miscommunication and they weren't coming. They dashed out with just a few sparklers left sparking, but oh well, that's how life goes. Plus, it was hilarious!...
Jimmy & Rebecca were set up on their first date by friends/family and told they were going to love one another... I guess that was accurate!! About a year later in early June they were getting married, so it's safe to say they hit it off. They are sweet, fun, and obviously crazy about each other which makes for about the best wedding day you can ask for. I was nervous and excited to be at this wedding and do it justice... truth be told I would likely only have a few people I would do this for, as I was very 8 months pregnant, when I showed up on the wedding day - oh my poor feet, ha. (Don't worry, we went through worst case scenarios and got back up plans, haha.) :) But Jimmy was one of my besties from waaaaayyy back in high school, and I was just meeting Rebecca but found she was warm...
David and Melissa both came in from out of town to get married in the Logan Temple. They met and fell in Love at BYU-Idaho and their families are from Texas and South Carolina - so anywhere was going to require some travel, fun that they ended up here! It was a gorgeous spring dayThey had just their close family and friends with them and planned a low key party to celebrate the beginning together. David and Melissa - Have many great years together, and I hope you always look back on this day fondly!
A lovely warm winter day, two great families and two people who love each other becoming 1. Such a great day for these two. It was beautiful and relaxed and they planned a beautiful reception with all the trimmings. They couldn't stop smiling and we all couldn't either. Take a peek at their bliss and all the hard work below!
In front of God and all their family these two pledged they would be married for this life and the next, and they seemed pretty sure of it! They had so many friends and family there to cheer them on and tell them they cared. Grant did his best to pretend that he wanted to take pictures, but we all knew better... Teresa even harrassed him, a new wife privilege, into some silly pictures that Grant wouldn't have done for anyone else! ;) Check out their December wedding day below!
Austin and Brielle and I had gorgeous weather for their formals a couple weeks pre-wedding, then wedding day it decided to throw us a weather curveball. Oh well, we have umbrellas right? And then their umbrella broke. And then Austin realized he was bleeding. And it was on Brielle's dress. But you know what I love? They didn't care. They laughed it all off, having the best day regardless and loving each other, their friends and their family and the start of their lives together in good humor!
